About the role
Union drywall/metal framing contractor in business over 25 years.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate/quality/competitive/profitable estimates, evaluate risks, proposals, specs/scopes/contracts/drawings/budgets, bid docs/strategies/deadlines, and follow estimating procedures
- Sub/material/vendor quotes, estimate handoff/job pre-planning, market evaluation, value engineering, and jobsite inspections
- Lead/coordinate projects/teams, sub/vendor relationships, produce quality work that’s on schedule/profitable, resolve issues, prioritize/delegate tasks, and organize/track materials/resources
- Ensure project deadlines/efficiency, control job costs, project logs/docs, budget, jobsite safety, and schedule
- Will be based out of the office and visiting jobsites/clients as needed
- Projects are mostly commercial office TIs and type of work covers metal framing, drywall, finishing, and some insulation
- Average size project is $200K-$500K with jobs up to $1.5M each.
- Project locations are mostly in LA County, but they’re looking to expand into Orange County
Requirements
- 5 years of drywall/metal framing estimating/project management experience on local commercial TI projects; candidates can be APMs/Assistant Estimators ready for the next step
- Computerized estimating software knowledge
- Prefer union shop experience

Pay
- Base Salary: $120K-$130K DOE
- Bonus range: $30K-$50K
