Project Manager/Estimator

Job Overview

A growing commercial roofing contractor in Elk Grove Village is seeking a Project Manager / Estimator to support an expanding pipeline of commercial projects and industrial projects. This role is ideal for someone with experience in both project management and estimating who wants to be part of a stable, growing team with strong earning potential.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial roofing projects from bid through completion
• Prepare accurate estimates, takeoffs, and proposals
• Review drawings, specifications, and scope requirements
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, and production
• Coverage project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and documentation
• Maintain communication with clients, consultants, and internal teams
• Support ongoing business development and client relationships

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in commercial roofing (PM and/or estimating)
• Knowledge of commercial roofing systems (TPO, PVC, EPDM, BUR, Modified Bitumen, Metal)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience with estimating software (Bluebeam, PlanSwift, EDGE, etc.) preferred
• Valid driver’s license

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $90,000 – $100,000 will pay more with more experience
