About the Role
As a Project Manager/Estimator, you will be a trusted member of our team, responsible for estimating and managing multiple negotiated design/build and plan/specification projects. This role involves self-performing concrete and Pre-Engineered Metal Building work, requiring strong quantity take-off skills. It is ideal for a professional passionate about construction and thriving in dynamic, challenging environments.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs for self-performed work (concrete, Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings, and other trades).
- Read and comprehend complex construction plans.
- Prepare accurate estimates, including plan distribution, project analysis, and proposals.
- Manage multiple projects, ensuring accountability and adherence to hard deadlines.
- Work with customers to analyze their needs and provide solutions.
- Demonstrate strong conceptual abilities in project planning and execution.
Requirements
- Exceptional quantity take-off skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet hard deadlines.
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and proactive approach to work.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel; experience with Blue Beam and Microsoft Project is a plus.

Qualifications
- 3+ years of project management/estimating experience on projects up to $5 million.
- Experience with hard bid, negotiated, design/build projects, and conceptual estimates.
- Strong knowledge of industrial or commercial construction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Building Construction Technology or Engineering preferred.
- Prior field construction trade or supervisory experience is a plus.
