Project Manager - eAxle and eMotor
About the Role
At Bosch, we’re proud to offer innovative products that meet or exceed the needs and wants of our customers. We’re in search of an experienced Project Manager to lead acquisition and production projects in our eMotor and eAxle product area, focusing on North American customers.
The Project Manager will be responsible for eMotor and eAxle products, ensuring project KPIs are achieved (on-time, on-spec, on-quality, on-budget/profit, and customer satisfaction). This role involves significant travel and on-site work at plants as needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional project/program teams (internally and externally) for production projects, with a focus on launch and post-SOP activities.
- Work closely with plant functions to ensure safe launch and change management.
- Drive the definition of risks, risk mitigation plans, problem-solving, and human/capital resource management.
- Manage schedules and open issues to closure by identifying, prioritizing, communicating, and reducing risk through informed decision-making and escalation.
- Manage complex projects and tasks using experience and new information to find innovative solutions.
- Make and defend important decisions using sound logic and effectively communicate them to all stakeholders.
- Utilize master-level communication skills to ensure all team members (internal, clients, vendors) are informed of changes, decisions, or expectations.
- Ensure successful completion of team deliverables from internal and external sources (clients, vendors, cross-functional groups).
- Demonstrate ownership of all facets of a project or task.
- Apply technical and professional competence using previous experience and new knowledge.
- Thrive in a high-visibility role with exposure to all levels of internal and external management, leading to growth opportunities within Bosch.
- Apply project management and sales tools/methods (risk, scope, time, quality, profit) in customer projects.
- Perform stakeholder analysis and drive communications/escalations in critical situations (internally and at the customer).

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering domain.
- 5+ years of project management experience with successful launches of automotive products into production.
- Experience leading global cross-functional project teams, including engineering, purchasing, quality, and manufacturing.
- Experience interfacing directly with customers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified PMP Project Manager.
- Experience with complex electromechanical component launches.
Travel Requirements
