About the role

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire data migration process from start to finish. They will ensure that all project objectives are met on time, within scope, and within budget. They will ensure the integrity of legacy data/systems migration to a cloud platform, oversee the data migration process, ensuring data integrity and accuracy, coordinate with the technical team, coordinate and work with vendors, ensure the project adheres to the timeline and budget constraints, identify, prioritize, and mitigate project risks and issues, lead the project team, driving motivation, collaboration, and high performance, conduct regular project status meetings and provide detailed reports to stakeholders, and serve as the single point of contact for all project-related queries and communications.

Responsibilities

  • The PM will ensure that all project objectives are met on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • The PM will ensure the integrity of legacy data/systems migration to a cloud platform.
  • Oversee the data migration process, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Cook up with the technical team.
  • Cook up and work with vendors.
  • Ensure the project adheres to the timeline and budget constraints.
  • Identify, prioritize, and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Lead the project team, driving motivation, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Cook up regular project status meetings and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for all project-related queries and communications.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 5-10+ years of direct program/project management experience.
  • Previous data migration project manager experience.
  • Previous legacy to cloud migration project experience.
  • PMP or similar Project Management certification preferred.
  • Vendor Management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Solid technical background; experience working with data teams.
  • Ability to understand complex technical material and be able to ascertain business implications.
  • Ability to translate business strategy into functional/operational plans and apply knowledge to the critical components of the function.
  • Strong relationship building and negotiation skills; able to influence internal and external stakeholders with shared and divergent interests.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Solid organizational skills, including multi-tasking and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated results in team management, and ensuring work activities are value added and focused on project delivery.

Pay

This is a full-time position with 25% travel.
