About the role

Egan Company is seeking a Project Manager for its curtainwall/metal panel construction team (InterClad) in Champlin, MN. This role manages projects with high complexity, focusing on financial outcomes and project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of a project by conducting pre-planning meetings and maximizing resources.
  • Support the field and/or shop to perform work efficiently.
  • Direct a team through project execution, gaining the respect of field personnel and managing diverse expectations.
  • Manage financial aspects of contracts, ensuring profitability and positive cash flow.
  • Assume primary leadership responsibilities for each assigned project.
  • Navigate and use Egan’s project management systems and processes, including Milestone Based Delivery (MBD).
  • Evaluate the contractual scope of work and initiate/subcontract.
  • Monitor/control project development through administrative direction of on-site Field Leader.
  • Prepare, issue, and update master project schedule and variance reports.
  • Manage project close-out and foster long-term relationships with customers.
  • Act as the "face to the customer."

Qualifications

  • Curtainwall and/or Metal Panel experience required.
  • A two-year Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent level of technical training and related construction experience).
  • At least five years of construction/project management experience.
  • Demonstrated excellence in customer service and ability to quickly build relationships.
  • Solid understanding of key functional areas including: business development, preconstruction, means and methods, project planning and scheduling, cost reporting, and budgeting.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to influence others with diplomacy and tactfulness.
  • Outstanding organizational and negotiation skills.
  • Anticipate and adjust to changing priorities and methods; willingness to take on new tasks and challenges.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office and Google suite and the ability/desire to learn new software systems.
  • Must obtain OSHA-30 certification within six (6) months from date of hire (if not already certified).
  • Travel to job-sites and client sites as needed.

Salary range: $91,800.00 - $ 114,750.00 (subject to such factors as experience, education, and/or skill set) plus potential annual discretionary bonus.
