About the role
The Project Manager manages the entire crane project within the established budget, scope, and timeframe, with responsibility for results and customer satisfaction. The role requires coordinating and communicating project requirements and status updates to customers and team members.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and host internal and external kick-off meetings for all projects.
- Review and manage projects according to budget and technical requirements.
- Organize and coordinate all site deliverables and services.
- Requisition all required materials for site activities.
- Coordinate approval drawing flow between the customer and engineering.
- Identify changes in project scope and manage change orders.
- Support installation and commissioning activities.
- Prepare project closing reports.
Requirements
- Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment requiring frequent decision-making and creative problem-solving.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
- Candidates located in the Central Time Zone (CST) and Mountain Time Zone (MST) are preferred.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in a field related to manufacturing or construction is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- PMP or similar project management certification is considered an asset.
- Minimum of three (3) years of project management experience in a construction or manufacturing environment, including procurement management and support of field installations.
- Ability to interpret technical information and provide clear technical instructions.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings/prints.
