About the role
This Project Manager position offers the opportunity to lead various strategic and operational projects that directly support the Office of the Chief Operating Officer. The role is ideal for a collaborative project management professional who enjoys leading cross-functional teams, managing complex initiatives, and partnering with executive stakeholders to successfully deliver projects from planning through implementation and long-term sustainability.
You will lead end-to-end project management by developing project plans, defining objectives, managing scope, schedules, budgets, risks, resources, and deliverables while ensuring projects remain aligned with organizational priorities. Strong critical thinking, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential to successfully managing multiple priorities in a dynamic healthcare environment.
You will serve as a key coordinator of cross-functional resources and stakeholder engagement, working closely with operational leaders, subject matter experts, and project team members across multiple divisions. Success requires building strong relationships, facilitating collaboration, resolving project challenges, securing necessary resources, and keeping teams aligned toward shared business objectives.
A significant component of this position involves project reporting, analytics, and executive communication. You will monitor project milestones, maintain RAID logs, develop project dashboards and status reports, analyze trends, evaluate project performance, and provide leadership with meaningful updates that support informed decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex projects, leading cross-functional teams, and utilizing formal project management methodologies in a healthcare or similarly complex organizational environment. This position requires being onsite at least once per week with more days required based on business need.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the implementation of projects/project teams using project management skills, tools, and techniques.
- Manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.
- Develop or update project plans including objectives, information specifications, schedules, funding, technologies, and staffing.
- Submit project deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Establish and execute a project communication plan including updates on progress and budgets as needed.
- Schedule and facilitate meetings related to projects including creating agendas, presentations, and minutes.
- Initiate, review, or approve modifications to project plans.
- Perform risk assessments to develop response strategies.
- Track project milestones and ensure projects are completed on time and to quality standards.
- Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems; raise and identify key project risks or issues.
- Manage activities of project personnel and assign duties, responsibilities, and spans of authority to project resources.
- Work with staff to develop project goals and project plans.
- Determine and secure necessary resources to complete projects.
- Monitor or track project milestones and deliverables including managing and updating RAID log.
- Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing trends.
- Work with reporting teams to determine statistical and qualitative analysis needs for each project and work with staff to determine appropriate sources and methods.
- Develop and report on evaluation criteria for each project.
- Develop reports and reconcile project budgets and grant submissions as necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- 4 years of related project/program management experience OR 2 years of required experience with a preferred Master's Degree.
- May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience.
- Project management experience in a complex healthcare setting (preferred).
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) - PMI (preferred).
- Experience working with AI tools (preferred).

Pay
Minimum Salary: $92,500
Midpoint Salary: $115,500
Maximum Salary: $138,500
Schedule
Full-Time, regular work week during days. Hybrid onsite/remote work location.
FLSA: exempt and not eligible for overtime pay.
