Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines.
  • Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports.
  • Direct and supervise construction or related workers.
  • Prepare contracts or negotiate revisions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, or subcontractors.
  • Conduct on-site inspections to assess damages and repair needs.
  • Prepare detailed Xactimate estimates in accordance with program guidelines, building codes, and IICRC standards.
  • Capture and document clear job site photos and upload necessary data into our 365 system.
  • Communicate with insurance adjusters, clients, and internal team members to ensure estimate accuracy and timely approvals.
  • Review and submit supplements or change orders as needed.
  • Support the transition of projects from estimation to production, working collaboratively with the project management team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Project Management and writing reconstruction estimates in Xactimate (required).
  • Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and restoration processes.
  • A strong understanding of insurance programs and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple estimates at once.
  • Proficiency with smartphones, tablets, and job management software.
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and work in varying environmental conditions.
