Project Manager - Construction
Sitestream, a Polaris Software company in Beverly, MA, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated team member as a Project Manager. This role serves as the operational link between internal teams and third-party construction companies, ensuring work is properly scheduled, tracked, and completed in compliance with local requirements.
- Coordinate workflows, monitor progress, and maintain visibility across active projects
- Manage day-to-day operations including support outsourcing of infrastructure tasks, ensuring proper management of contractors, permits, equipment needs, and site logistics
- Review and analyze construction drawings to ensure accurate execution in the field, coordinating with third-party contractors to resolve discrepancies and maintain design intent
- Serve as the technical and managerial point of contact for ITS construction, resolving field issues, constructability concerns, and design conflicts with third-party construction companies
- Track project timelines, deliverables, and approved budgets
- Ensure work aligns with local/state building requirements and compliance standards
- Identify and escalate operational issues, delays, or budget concerns
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including state requirements, inspections, and close-out records
- Conduct or coordinate site visits and ensure all physical deployment prerequisites are met
- Provide regular project status updates to leadership
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in project management, project operations, or contractor coordination
- Proven experience managing third-party construction and approval vendors
- Strong understanding of construction workflows and scheduling, ideally in an ITS or highways environment
- Experience with budget tracking and documentation
- Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-through skills
Preferred Experience:
- PMP-certified professional with proven experience applying formal project management methodologies to third-party construction oversight
- Background in compliance-driven, municipal, or inspection-related construction
- Experience working with permitting offices or inspectors
- Familiarity with project tracking
