About the role

The Project Manager at Kitchen Tune-Up is responsible for coordinating all aspects of a remodeling project from purchasing to installation. This role assumes duties after a sale has been made by a salesperson.

Responsibilities

  • Captures timely delivery of cabinets and other products
  • Purchases and manages payables
  • Initiates and signs all purchase orders
  • Reviews and approves vendor invoices for payment
  • Coordinates installation details and job dates with installers, contractors, etc.
  • Arranges for delivery of cabinet and other products to the job site and coordinates with customers
  • Coordinates final countertop dimensions with the fabricator
  • Inspects the completion of all jobs and forwards information regarding repairs or touch-ups to the service room
  • Plays a follow-up call to the customer after installation to gather feedback and offer a "Thank You"
  • Reviews and verifies all customers' payments by job on remodel and new construction
  • Supervises the smooth and efficient operation of office procedures and hourly staff
  • Participates in joint operations meetings with the General Manager to discuss:
    • Potential or existing problems
    • New programs or procedures
    • Procedural questions or issues
    • Recognition of good work performance
    • Status updates on the business
    • Team ideas and suggestions
    • Hires support staff and oversees On-the-Job Training (OJT)

Qualifications

  • Experience in project management
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
