About the Role
The main purpose of this job is to support Corporate Construction & Design efforts in achieving the Bank’s primary business goals related to the built environment, including effective project and space management, as well as furniture systems and miscellaneous work orders within the assigned region.
Responsibilities
- Provide support in achieving corporate goals and space management and design standards throughout the assigned markets.
- Oversee space planning and design development of bank-occupied facilities within the assigned regions, including developing time schedules and pre-construction cost estimates to provide alternate recommendations for decision-making.
- Oversee construction project management functions across multiple, diverse projects in various markets within the assigned region, including management and selection of third-party vendors.
- Oversee personnel relocation management within assigned regions, including furniture purchasing, standard development, and maintenance of those standards.
- Regularly monitor existing space utilization within assigned regions to ensure compliance with developed standards, including conducting space audits and surveys to update the master corporate space plan.
- Develop financial models related to proposed projects requiring corporate approvals.
- Provide technical assistance, including interpretation of drawings, specifications, and recommending construction methods.
- Manage construction projects (based on scope), including administration, approvals, schedules, and budgets.
- Manage furniture system components: installations, replacements, reorganizations, and inventory as needed.
- Develop, manage, and leverage vendor relationships to lower cost outlays.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of all aspects of construction project management and design from conception to completion.
- Strong knowledge of commercial office furniture brands, components, quality, and ergonomics.
- Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to remain adaptable and resilient in all situations with an optimistic outlook aligned with our culture and Core Values.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Foxit (Adobe Acrobat), and PowerPoint.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Architecture, Interior Architecture, and/or Construction Management related studies, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- 5+ years of architectural or construction-related firm experience required.
- Corporate construction experience preferred.
- Revit or AutoCAD experience preferred.
- 3D Modeling, SketchUp, or Photoshop preferred.
Pay
Annual Salary: $82,000.00 - $96,500.00 (based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies).
