About the role

The Project Manager has overall responsibility for project performance and customer satisfaction, guiding projects from concept to completion with full profit and performance accountability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee managerial and administrative aspects of a project, including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, billing, design review, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation.
• Collaborate with the owner early in the process to facilitate design with chosen professionals.
• Prepare accurate and complete project estimates.
• Work with owners and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings.
• Participate in proposal meetings to review scope, discuss cost-reduction strategies, and provide value engineering ideas.
• Oversee the buyout process and subcontractor selection.
• Conduct bi-weekly job site meetings.
• Coordinate with the Superintendent to ensure safety, quality control, and schedule adherence.
• Lead progress meetings with owners and the construction team.
• Maintain cost consciousness and awareness of all project aspects.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders involved in the project.

Requirements

• 2-8 years of design/build experience.
• Ability to make sound decisions under tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational, planning, and multi-tasking skills to achieve desired results.
• Commitment to quality by evaluating processes, implementing improvements, and meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
• Act with integrity, supporting company values and maintaining focus on customer requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.
