RGD Project Management
Job Description
- Plan, manage, and coordinate project schedule, scope, and cost.
- Manage construction activities related to automated material handling systems, including ASRS, AGVs/AMRs, automated conveyor systems, and related warehouse infrastructure.
- Oversee installation, commissioning, testing, and turnover of automated material handling equipment.
- Identify value engineering opportunities, including cost savings and material substitutions, while ensuring quality and equivalency.
- Communicate with and manage project stakeholders, including clients, vendors, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
- Drive daily coordination between multiple trades, vendors, and project partners to maintain project schedule and execution quality.
- Support conflict resolution between trade partners, vendors, and stakeholders to keep project activities moving efficiently.
- Prepare the Project Management Plan and fee/budget proposal at project outset.
- Review project documents and communicate the client’s goals, expectations, scope, schedule, budget, and design standards to the project team.
- Develop and communicate action plans to guide the project team from project kickoff through completion.
- Maintain organized project processes, documentation, and electronic/physical records.
- Coordinate with cost management teams on cost estimates, cost studies, job cost reviews, and budget reconciliation, as applicable.
- Drive the permitting process by coordinating required design team documents and ensuring permits progress efficiently through local, state, and federal agencies.
- Ensure design management aligns with client project documents, budget, scope, schedule, and design standards.
- Prepare and communicate cost and revenue projections.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain regular attendance during normal business hours.
Knowledge & Skills Required
- Strong project management experience in construction.
- Strong project management experience with the installation of automated material handling equipment.
- Experience managing commissioning and testing of automated material handling systems.
- Prior experience with ASRS construction and operation.
- Prior experience with AGVs/AMRs and their operation.
- Prior experience with automated conveyor systems and their operation.
- Strong vendor management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience driving daily coordination between multiple trades.
- Experience resolving conflicts between trade partners, vendors, and project stakeholders.
- Experience preparing Project Management Plans and fee/budget proposals.
- Experience developing and driving project action plans.
- Able to monitor scope, identify changes, and recommend adjustments when necessary.
- Able to prepare and communicate cost and revenue projections.
- Knowledge of permitting processes and ability to drive permits to meet project timelines.
- Ability to understand how the role contributes to organizational goals.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver quality work while modeling organizational core values.
- Ability to hold self-accountable to individual and team goals.

- Relevant HVAC experience in a high bay warehouse environment is a plus.
Education And Experience
- Education: BS in Construction Management, Engineering, QS, Architecture, or related field.
- Experience: 4+ years of experience Project Management, engineering, or construction management.
- Preferred Certification: CCM, PMP, PE, AIA, LEED #INDCG.
Benefits
The salary range for this full-time role is $93,000.00-$124,000.20 per year. Ranges are determined based on the position, geography, client and industry experience and level, and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range reflects base salary only, and not the total compensation package. Cumming Group reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on a candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications, including client requirements.
