About the role
An established, privately owned commercial general contractor is seeking a high-caliber Project Manager - Commercial Construction to help deliver a growing portfolio of complex projects across multiple market sectors. With a significant backlog of secured work, an expanding client base, and clear plans for growth, this is an opportunity for a Project Manager to make a visible impact while positioning themselves for future leadership opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple commercial construction projects from planning through completion
- Lead project budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and risk management efforts
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Oversee contract administration, change orders, procurement, and project reporting
- Drive project performance while maintaining quality, safety, and financial objectives
- Support preconstruction activities and contribute to business development initiatives when needed
- Serve as a client-facing representative, maintaining strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Project Management experience within commercial construction
- Proven experience managing projects valued from approximately $5M to $50M+
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and contract administration
- Experience with preconstruction processes and project planning activities
- Proficiency with Procore and construction management software platforms
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact directly with clients and executive stakeholders
- Professional, polished, and composed under pressure
- Demonstrated career stability and strong project tenure
- Experience across retail, industrial, corporate office, aviation, or other commercial project sectors is highly preferred
- Ambition to grow into future leadership and team-building responsibilities

- Base salary: $120,000 - $150,000
