Commercial Roofing Project Manager Location: Northwest Chicago Suburbs | Initial Project Assignment: Kenosha, WI Compensation: $120,000–$130,000 Base + Bonus + Company Vehicle Industry: Commercial Roofing & Waterproofing Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent The Opportunity An established commercial roofing contractor in the Northwest Chicago suburbs is looking for an experienced Commercial Roofing Project Manager to join its team. This is a permanent position with the company; however, the successful candidate will initially take responsibility for a major commercial roofing project in Kenosha, Wisconsin, expected to run approximately 12–18 months. Candidates must be comfortable commuting to Kenosha regularly throughout the project. Once completed, the position will transition to projects throughout the Greater Chicago market. This is a field and production-focused PM role for someone who understands commercial roofing, enjoys being close to the work and knows how to keep crews, schedules, budgets and clients moving in the right direction. What You'll Be Doing Manage the Kenosha project from mobilization through completion and closeoutCoordinate Superintendents, field crews, subcontractors and suppliersMaintain project schedules and production targetsMonitor jobsite safety, quality and manufacturer requirementsCoordinate materials, equipment and project logisticsManage change orders and assist with job costing and cost controlIdentify and resolve field issues before they impact schedule or budgetMaintain communication with clients, general contractors and internal teamsEnsure QA/QC standards are maintained throughout the projectManage project documentation, turnover and closeout What We're Looking For 5+ years of commercial roofing project management experienceStrong knowledge of BUR, EPDM, modified bitumen, TPO, PVC and metal roofing systemsWaterproofing experience is highly desirableExperience managing mid- to large-scale commercial roofing projectsStrong field leadership and crew coordination experienceSolid understanding of scheduling, production, safety and QA/QCAbility to communicate effectively with field teams, clients and general contractorsOrganized, accountable and comfortable taking ownership of complex projectsAbility to commute to Kenosha, WI for approximately 12–18 months Compensation & Benefits $120,000–$130,000 base salaryPerformance bonusCompany vehicleCompetitive benefits packageStrong project backlogPermanent position with long-term opportunity beyond the Kenosha assignment Why Consider This Opportunity?
