Project Manager - Commercial HVAC

Responsibilities

• Supports the sales function by assisting with quote preparation and proposal.
• Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel as required/necessary.
• Supervises the preparation of plans and specifications for the design/installation of solutions in buildings and institutions.
• Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
• Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
• Captures project activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies.
• Coordinates project activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies.
• Prepares sub-contractor request for quotations (RFQ) including scope statements, plans and milestone dates, specs, bonding requirements, and billing schedule of values.
• Plans and analyzes assigned projects, establishes schedules and project parameters and sets procedures to accomplish system objectives, involving complex contracting applications.
• Examines and reviews contracts and estimates by performing risk analysis and developing risk plans.
• Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required.
• Establishes a professional relationship with the customer and interfaces constantly to maintain accurate status reports and project reviews.
• Prepares sub-contractor request for quotation’s (RFQ) including: scope statements; plans and milestone dates; specs; bonding requirements; and billing schedule of values.
• Confer with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
• Establishes fulfillment budget for assigned projects by revising the original estimate based on validated project scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 6-8+ years of Project Management experience.
• Commercial HVAC industry experience.
• Experience in design-build or plan-and-spec project management (preferred).
• Professional Engineering or Project Management Certificate (preferred).

Pay

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $100,800 to $166,700 plus annual bonus in Georgia. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
