Project Manager - Commercial Electrical Construction

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple commercial and industrial electrical construction projects from award through final closeout
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and labor forecasts to ensure successful project execution
• Lead field supervisors, foremen, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards
• Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, general contractors, engineers, and inspectors throughout each project
• Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and change orders to ensure accurate project execution
• Monitor project costs, prepare financial forecasts, and implement corrective actions to maintain profitability
• Lead project meetings and provide regular updates on schedule, progress, risks, and financial performance
• Resolve field issues, coordinate design clarifications, and support successful commissioning and project turnover
• Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, contract requirements, and company quality standards

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience in commercial or industrial electrical construction
• Strong field experience with commercial electrical installations and construction operations
• A valid Connecticut electrical license is required
• Experience working for an electrical contractor or electrical subcontractor is strongly preferred
• Proficiency with reading and interpreting electrical drawings, specifications, and construction documents
• Proficiency with construction project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms
• Ability to start within the next month is highly preferred

Pay

$100,000-$110,000 annually, based on experience
