We are seeking an experienced Commercial Electrical Project Manager to lead commercial and industrial electrical construction projects for a well-established electrical contractor. This role is responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through closeout while ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This opportunity is ideal for a project manager with experience working for an electrical contractor who can successfully manage multiple projects, coordinate field operations, maintain strong client relationships, and deliver exceptional project results. Responsibilities Manage commercial and industrial electrical construction projects from award through final completion. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and labor forecasts. Coordinate field operations with superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers. Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, general contractors, engineers, architects, and inspectors. Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders. Monitor project costs, forecasts, and profitability while proactively addressing budget and schedule risks. Lead project meetings and provide regular updates on progress, financial performance, and project milestones. Coordinate material purchasing, equipment deliveries, and subcontractor scheduling. Resolve field issues and support commissioning, inspections, and successful project closeout. Ensure compliance with project specifications, electrical codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards Requirements 5+ years of project management experience in commercial or industrial electrical construction. Experience working for an electrical contractor or electrical subcontractor. Valid Connecticut E-1 or E-2 Electrical License required. Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, installation methods, and construction practices. Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, specifications, contracts, and construction documents. Experience managing projects from preconstruction through closeout, including budgeting and financial oversight. Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software. Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Candidates available to start within the next month are preferred Benefits Competitive salary: $100,000-$110,000, based on experience. 401(k) with company contribution.
