Manage full project lifecycle:
- planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, risk management, change orders, and closeout for HVAC/mechanical projects.

Review bid documents, drawings, and scopes early:
- to identify potential issues, opportunities, risks, omissions, and value engineering possibilities; develop workable solutions to prevent problems.

Collaborate with preconstruction, estimating, and operations teams:
- to create realistic schedules, budgets, and project plans that meet milestones and financial targets.

Track project budgets, costs, labor productivity, variances, and forecasts:
- to identify shortcomings/pitfalls or profit-enhancing opportunities and implement corrective actions.

Promote open communication among project teams, clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal departments:
- to resolve conflicts and ensure alignment.

Organize and lead coordination meetings, site walks, and progress reviews:
- to maintain detailed documentation of scope changes, execution decisions, costs, and client communications.

Ensure strict adherence to contract documents, specifications, company policies, safety requirements, quality expectations, and ethical standards:
- by conducting job-site reviews, ensuring installations meet/exceed industry standards, preventing call-backs/warranty issues, and partnering with quality teams on processes/inspections.

Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, architects, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors:
- to support repeat business and future opportunities.

Recruit, train, mentor, and develop project team members:
- to track performance, delegate appropriately, nominate for promotions/incentives, and participate in hiring as needed.

Enforce safety compliance across teams:
- to assure PPE usage, coordinate with safety officers for inspections/visits, and uphold company/project safety protocols at all times.

Provide leadership vision for project planning, coordination, sequencing, labor utilization, and continuous improvement:
- to communicate updates and issues to executive leadership.
Experience
- 5–10+ years of progressive project management experience in commercial HVAC/mechanical construction or related building services; proven track record managing teams and projects valued from $500K to multi-million dollars.
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience with strong technical HVAC knowledge considered.
Certifications
- PMP, LEED, OSHA 30-hour, or relevant trade certifications a plus; valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
Physical Demands
- Primarily office-based with frequent job-site visits; ability to walk active construction sites, climb ladders/stairs, lift light materials (plans, laptop), and travel regionally/nationally as needed; standard office mobility for computer work and meetings.
Work Environment/Safety
- Professional office with hybrid options and active construction sites; exposure to varying weather, noise, dust, heights; must adhere to OSHA regulations, conduct hazard identification, and wear required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed boots) on sites—safety is our top priority and non-negotiable.

Pay Range
$110,000 - $140,000 per year
