Project Manager (Civil Land Development) | Warren, NJ | Bohler
About the role
Bohler’s Warren, NJ office is seeking a Project Manager to oversee complex land development projects in the Greater New York/New Jersey Metro area. This role requires strong leadership, collaboration, and experience in civil/site design and permitting.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of project delivery, including design, permitting, scheduling, and budgeting
- Serve as the primary client contact and ensure expectations are met through clear communication and proactive leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop Assistant Project Managers and technical staff
- Oversee financial performance, including contracts, invoicing, and change management
- Present at public hearings, client meetings, and community sessions as needed
- Collaborate with firm leadership on business development and account growth
- Promote quality control, innovation, and continuous improvement within your team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- 10+ years of civil/site design and permitting experience in land development
- Proven success in managing project delivery and client relationships
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience overseeing budgets, contracts, and staff development
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater design software
- PE license preferred

- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Pay
Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience. The base pay range for this role is $120,000 – $150,000 per year.
