Project Manager - Civil Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage community development projects from planning through completion, ensuring delivery aligns with client expectations, schedules, budgets, and corporate performance goals.
- Cook up and delegate project tasks across technical staff and project teams while maintaining overall accountability for successful execution.
- Mentor and support junior engineers and Assistant Project Managers, fostering professional growth and team development.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication, collaboration with construction management teams, and high-quality service delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field required; PE license preferred or ability to obtain.
- Demonstrated experience managing municipal capital improvement projects (roads, drainage, water, sewer, parks, and public facilities).
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to municipal engineering and public works construction.
- Solid understanding of stormwater management, permitting processes, and infrastructure asset management practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering/design software.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, budgeting, scheduling, and team coordination skills in a fast-paced project environment.
Pay
T&M Associates is committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation practices in compliance with applicable laws, including the New Jersey Equal Pay Act. T&M estimates that the salary range for this position will fall between $130,000-$165,000. The actual salary offered may vary within this range, depending on a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, educational qualifications, specific skills and knowledge, as well as internal pay equity and geographic location.
