Skill Requirements

  • 3-5 years of civil experience

Responsibilities

  • Schedules and coordinates projects for efficiency and quality
  • Regularly communicates with clients concerning budget, schedule and quantity tracking
  • Ensures adherence to the budget and, when unexpected complications or issues arise, makes quick and necessary adjustments
  • Supports the superintendent in coordinating project needs and manpower and assists in directing day to day field activities as needed
  • Ensures safety standards and guidelines are followed on the jobsite and that all safety codes are met in construction
  • Collaborates with clients, supervisory staff, subcontractors, and engineers to discuss and resolve challenges
  • Manages and leads actions that are necessary due to delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction sites
  • Develops and maintains good working relationships with all involved parties
  • Builds and maintains long-term relationship with key vendors and subcontractors
  • Performs accurate project and budget tracking
  • Issues One Calls and keeps them up to date
  • Issues Submittals and RFI’s for the project are submitted and tracked for project compliance
  • Collaborates closely with the Director of Project Management to provide updates on work in progress and support strategic forecasting for active projects
  • Works closely with the Director of Project Management to prepare and verify accurate monthly billing
  • Oversee multiple crews/projects as necessary
  • Evaluates manpower needs
  • Oversees a team of superintendents to ensure projects are completed to specification, on time and on budget
  • Determines needed resources including but not limited to manpower, equipment, and materials from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
  • Evaluates progress and prepares detailed reports
