Responsibilities
- Schedules and coordinates projects for efficiency and quality
- Regularly communicates with clients concerning budget, schedule and quantity tracking
- Ensures adherence to the budget and, when unexpected complications or issues arise, makes quick and necessary adjustments
- Supports the superintendent in coordinating project needs and manpower and assists in directing day to day field activities as needed
- Ensures safety standards and guidelines are followed on the jobsite and that all safety codes are met in construction
- Collaborates with clients, supervisory staff, subcontractors, and engineers to discuss and resolve challenges
- Manages and leads actions that are necessary due to delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction sites
- Develops and maintains good working relationships with all involved parties
- Builds and maintains long-term relationship with key vendors and subcontractors
- Performs accurate project and budget tracking
- Issues One Calls and keeps them up to date
- Issues Submittals and RFI’s for the project are submitted and tracked for project compliance
- Collaborates closely with the Director of Project Management to provide updates on work in progress and support strategic forecasting for active projects
- Works closely with the Director of Project Management to prepare and verify accurate monthly billing
- Oversee multiple crews/projects as necessary
- Evaluates manpower needs
- Oversees a team of superintendents to ensure projects are completed to specification, on time and on budget
- Determines needed resources including but not limited to manpower, equipment, and materials from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
- Evaluates progress and prepares detailed reports
