Project Manager - (Civic & Justice Experience)

Responsibilities

Manages one or more projects during all phases of a project until completion.

Directs employees and consultants at all levels to ensure that proper steps and procedures are taken and that work is completed as planned, budgeted, scheduled and in conformance with the design intent.

Works with Project Architect to avoid or eliminate conflicts in schedule due to the changes in various projects.

Plans, organizes and manages project. Provides on-going communication through team meetings/minutes/up-date memos to project team.

Maintains client relationships throughout project. Keeps client apprised of project progress on regular basis.

Consults with client to determine function and spatial requirements and prepares information regarding design, specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs, and construction time.

Plays a role in developing annual business plan for the business unit.

Participates in developing new business opportunities while developing current client relationships.

Provides leadership including professional development coaching and mentoring staff.

May participate in interviews and recruiting of professional staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or equivalent in education or experience required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 5 years’ experience in architectural practice with management experience in all phases of projects through post-occupancy.
• Licensed Architect with current registration in your region preferred, if licensure is offered in your region.
• NCARB registration preferred.
• LEED accreditation or Green Associate preferred.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in architecture or equivalent in education or experience required. Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 5 years’ experience in architectural practice with management experience in all phases of projects through post-occupancy.
• Licenses: Licensed Architect with current registration in your region preferred, if licensure is offered in your region. NCARB registration preferred.
• Accreditation: LEED accreditation or Green Associate preferred.

Pay

The reasonably expected salary range for this position is $130,000 to $150,000. Other compensation may include a discretionary bonus.
