Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Project Manager responsible for the successful completion of construction projects involving access control, security, BDA, and voice/data systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze projects and manage from planning through execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure.
• Maximize project profitability, including invoicing materials and equipment.
• Manage labor resources efficiently.
• Achieve first-pass certificate of occupancy.
• Program and design fire alarm systems and other project components.
• Communicate project needs to all stakeholders.
• Handle and computer program fire alarm panels.
• Instruct and train DynaFire personnel and customers.
• Maintain project files and track labor, material, equipment, punch lists, and RFI's.
• Ensure compliance with safety programs and DynaFire policies.
• Generate reports and assist in billings.
• Maintain certifications and promote professional development.
• Foster a positive team environment and follow DynaFire core values.
• Forecast rough-in schedules with the Construction Team Manager.

Requirements

• Obtain NICET Level II within 12 months.
• Obtain NICET Level III within 24 months.
• Obtain NICET Level IV within 36 months.
• Obtain and maintain Notifier Onyx Series certifications within 18 months.
• Participate in required DynaFire sponsored training.
• Implement the five project management process groups.

Qualifications

Must have a working knowledge of construction tools, including lifts and wire pulling devices. Must be able to operate various meters and devices.
