Project Manager, Circuit Protection & Controls
About the role
The Project Manager for Electrical Products will report to the Segment Head of Circuit Protection & Controls. They will manage multiple projects for specific assigned customers, support project stakeholders, set firm expectations on product release dates, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve project issues.
Responsibilities
- Project manager for multiple projects for specific assigned customers
- Support project stakeholders on day-to-day activities
- Create baseline project schedules and reset customer expectations upon project kickoff
- Set firm expectations on expected product release dates
- Collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to resolve project or delivery issues
- Track and keep customers updated on pressing project issues
- Cook up deliveries with customers or project sites
- Serve as the escalation point for complex issues and challenges
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive improvements across organizations
- Applies skills to resolve complex problems to ensure successful delivery of projects
- Displays a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high impact, complex and/or cross-functional problems
- Develops risk mitigation plans to preempt potential problems
- Develops dashboards & visual reporting tools for CP&C Segment
- Assists and supports in warranty-related claims while balancing best bottom-line results and customer experience
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business or four years of experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree; 1+ years of experience in the application and concepts of Low Voltage Electrical Products; Experience with COMPAS, SAP, Knime, Tableau etc.; Eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future.
- Preferred Qualifications: BS in electrical or mechanical engineering; Successful history working with OEMs; Successful history working with construction projects; PMI - PMP or equivalent; Demonstrates problem solving skills to stakeholders on various Low Voltage Electrical Systems products; Maintains excellent organizational skills to store critical company and customer files including Emails, Purchase Agreements, Bid Proposals, Project Schedules, Meeting Minutes, etc; Demonstrates and applies strong interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills; Achievement & Results orientation, with high self-motivation; Able to identify complex problems, analyze options, and implement effective solutions.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $61,547 - $105,509 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
