Responsibilities
- Coordinating details related to equipment planning and installation of capital equipment to meet critical deadlines and accountabilities on major large scale capital projects.
- Facilitating replacement capital.
- Working as a critical support role to end-user capital decisions and FF&E project coordination of construction projects.
- Managing strategic supplier relationships with regard to Capital Equipment sourcing, negotiation and administration of agreements for the Capital Sourcing contracts related to FF&E requirements, needs and vendor management.
- Managing and implementing capital initiatives and strategies.
- Managing contracts, and standardization and initiative opportunities.
- Managing "upward" toward enterprise-wide capital strategies.
- Cooking and facilitating resource sharing and consensus building processes and programs in collaboration with executive, administrative, with both clinical and non-clinical staff.
- Managing and is accountable to multimillion dollar project budgets and deadlines.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree Business Administration or Construction Management. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
5 years Supply Chain Management, construction management, project management and/or equipment planning; preferably in a health system.
Preferred Qualifications
- Lever Six Sigma certification upon hire
- Project Management Institute Certification - PMP, CAPM, or other upon hire
