Project Manager - Capital Planning - Remote
About the role
This position is a critical support role to end-user capital decisions and FF&E project coordination of construction projects. It involves managing strategic supplier relationships, overseeing capital equipment sourcing, negotiation, and administration of agreements, managing capital initiatives and strategies, and coordinating resource sharing and consensus building processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage strategic supplier relationships with regard to Capital Equipment sourcing, negotiation, and administration of agreements for the Capital Sourcing contracts related to FF&E requirements, needs, and vendor management.
- Manage and implement capital initiatives and strategies.
- Manage contracts and standardization and initiative opportunities.
- Manage "upward" toward enterprise-wide capital strategies.
- Cook up consensus building processes and programs in collaboration with executive, administrative, with both clinical and non-clinical staff.
Requirements
This role manages and is accountable to multimillion dollar project budgets and deadlines. A bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Construction Management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required along with 5 years of Supply Chain Management, construction management, project management, and/or equipment planning experience. Lean Six Sigma certification and Project Management Institute Certification - PMP, CAPM, or other certifications are preferred upon hire.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Business Administration or Construction Management.
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 years Supply Chain Management, construction management, project management and/or equipment planning; preferably in a health system.
Skills
The ideal candidate should have strong project management skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, and the ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with healthcare industry standards and regulations are also beneficial.

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
Schedule
This role is full-time and works on a day shift. The position is remote, allowing for flexible working arrangements.
