Project Manager / CAD Supervisor

About the role

Our client is seeking a Project Manager / CAD Supervisor to lead a CAD team and oversee survey deliverables in Central Florida.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the drafting team, assigning work and ensuring project deadlines are met.
• Review and perform quality assurance on boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and plat drawings.
• Maintain CAD standards, templates, and drafting procedures.
• Cook up coordination with field crews, licensed surveyors, and internal teams to resolve project issues.
• Monitor project schedules, turnaround times, and drafting quality.
• Train and mentor CAD team members while promoting best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of survey or civil CAD production experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience leading or supervising drafting teams.
• Strong understanding of Florida survey requirements and platting.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to producing accurate, high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of Florida surveying regulations and standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
