About the role
The National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of Tanzania is seeking a qualified and responsible Project Manager – Buildings, Property and Development.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise architectural, construction, property, and development projects.
- Ensure all projects are delivered to the highest standards of safety, quality, and administrative compliance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders.
- Manage projects from planning through completion.
- Supervise contractors and consultants.
- Maintain budgets and timelines.
- Collaborate with government authorities on land, property documentation, surveying, building approvals, and statutory requirements.
Requirements
- A blend of technical engineering expertise and project management discipline.
- Strong communication skills to align institutional objectives with project goals.
- Ability to work within agreed timeframes and financial parameters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project management, preferably in a similar capacity within the Bahá’í community.
- Experience in managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Knowledge of Bahá’í administrative procedures and policies.
