Project Manager- AV Commercial

Responsibilities

• Project Communications: Manage project stakeholder communications, including scheduling, task lists for technicians, managing deliverables from engineering, CAD and Programming, and overseeing project completion.
• Scheduling and Task Management: Oversee project timelines, manage task lists, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, manage client expectations, and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
• Technical Support: Provide technical and administrative support to project team members, facilitate design reviews, coordinate system programming, and conduct final system checkouts.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure project quality and continuous improvement, document issues, and provide punch-lists of remaining tasks.
• Team Leadership: Facilitate and direct design reviews, coordinate with contractors and other trades, and manage project budgets and staffing.
• Decision Making: Make complex decisions regarding project scope, schedule, and budget, and communicate decision options to stakeholders.
• Physical Demands: Work on construction sites, spend significant time on your feet, and lift up to 20 pounds.

Requirements

• Education/Experience: Associates/Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, with a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute preferred.
• Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, supervisory and people skills, ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical, political, and people-related problems.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of experience as a project manager with familiarity in audio/video systems in commercial construction trades settings or office environments.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with audio/video systems installations, knowledge of low voltage electrical projects, and strong problem-solving skills.
