Project Manager

About the role

Vaco Atlanta is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate a company-wide Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation for 6-12 month contract.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of the ERP implementation project.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and status reports.
• Cook up cross-functional teams including Finance, Human Resources, Supply Chain, Operations, IT, and third-party vendors.
• Facilitate project governance meetings, steering committee updates, and executive communications.
• Manage project scope, timelines, dependencies, issues, and change requests.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize business disruption.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of project management experience, including leading enterprise software implementations.
• Demonstrated experience managing at least one full-cycle ERP implementation.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
• Excellent leadership, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience implementing ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Workday, Infor, or NetSuite.
• Experience with business process improvement and organizational change management.
• Familiarity with data migration, systems integration, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives.

Compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
