Essential Duties & Responsibilities*
- Manage $50M+ construction projects, oversee design teams and trade partners to resolve 90% of issues effectively.
- Own the project budget, monitor GR/GC expenses, manage and negotiate change orders to maintain profitability and avoid delays.
- Prepare profit plans, At-Risk Reports, and WIP projections; manage billing processes and material delivery tracking.
- Lead all engineering functions, including RFI/submittal management, coordination, and system accuracy using engineering tools.
- Track long lead items, identify and mitigate schedule risks, and communicate impacts from scope or document changes.
- Drive Lean Roadmap goals, manage the Last Planner System®, and implement continuous improvements using A3 and tech-based solutions.
- Prepare QC plans with Superintendents, manage project closeout processes, and finalize subcontractor performance and change orders.
- Maintain and distribute contract documents, utilize digital systems to improve version control and workflow efficiency.
- Develop and enforce site-specific safety plans, lead orientations and inspections, and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Set clear expectations, promote collaboration, and encourage high standards across teams, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Manage change, conflict, and feedback with empathy, clarity, and professionalism.
Education and Experience
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Building Construction and 5 years of experience in job offered or 5 years of experience in the Related Occupation.
