About the role
Whiting-Turner is a 'National ENR Top 25 General Contractor' committed to fostering a positive and supportive workplace culture. We are seeking a project manager with 3 to 15+ years of experience to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team, schedule, and costs while ensuring safety and quality on complex projects.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team.
- Solve problems and resolve conflicts.
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate subcontract trades.
- Interface with owners, architects, engineers, and on-site management teams.
- Prepare schedules and manage project progress.
- Handle financial impacts on site.
- Write scope and define project requirements.
- Negotiate change orders.
- Manage project accounting and scheduling.
Requirements
- Proven ability to manage projects with minimal delays.
- Track record of delivering complex projects.
- Experience managing financial impacts on site.
- Knowledge of construction principles.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Practitioner of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management, Construction Technology.

Qualifications
