Overview
What You’ll Do
- Cultivate new projects from existing customers.
- Lead team project meetings, document discussions, and provide regular status updates to management.
- Prepare and deliver weekly project status reports to customers, ensuring clear communication and transparency.
- Maintain and update project schedules using MS Project, manage resource allocation, and ensure team deadlines are met.
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers through face-to-face meetings, conference calls, and email updates throughout the project lifecycle.
- Aid in developing proposals and quotes, including preparing scopes of work, labor estimates, and cost breakdowns (may involve travel to customer facilities for information gathering).
- Ensure projects align with contractual agreements and manage any scope changes by enforcing TEC’s change order policies.
- Monitor project budgets and deliverables to ensure execution stays within scope and all deadlines are met.
- Facilitate customer feedback through satisfaction surveys and apply insights using change management strategies.
- Conduct project closeout meetings to document lessons learned and share best practices across teams.
What We’re Looking For

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and MS Project.

- Positive and professional demeanor with a focus on collaboration and customer service.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a project manager.
- PMP certification (preferred but not required).
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints (preferred but not required).
- Familiarity with NEC codes and industrial best practices (preferred but not required).
