Project Manager
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide oversight of construction-related activities for contracts
Support COR by performing all project management tasks
Provide the day-to-day project management for construction and service projects
Tasks include coordination with customers, schedule review, and design review
Develop solutions to construction problems or existing conditions encountered in the field
Review contractor submittals for contract conformance
Aid the contracting officer or COR throughout the acquisition phases of the project to include answering offerors questions; attending/participating in site orientation visits; attending/participating in joint contractor/government meetings
Draft technical responses to any change orders
Prepare statement of work and cost estimate for new contracts and contract modifications
Limited supervision and general direction
Independently applies advanced techniques to complex assignments
Supervision
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and Experience
- Four-year degree in construction management, engineering or related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 10 years project management work experience on commercial or Government construction projects
Computer Skills
- Skills in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment
- Proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and database (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
