Project Manager
Job Description
The Project Manager is responsible for supporting and coordinating cross-functional initiatives across the company’s proprietary platform organization. Works closely with team to help ensure projects remain organized, visible, and progress efficiently. This Project Manager plays a key role in maintaining operational structure and execution visibility through the Atlassian product suite, including Jira, Confluence, and Jira Product Discovery.
Job Responsibilities
- Aids in maintaining timelines, task ownership, updates, and dependency tracking of projects
- Covers the work activities for multiple initiatives across various teams and departments
- Reviews and ensures progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators within Confluence
- Establishes clear communications including coordination of recurring project meetings and cross-functional discussions, capturing meeting notes, decisions, and follow-up tasks
- Ensures information is consistent with organizational consistency and standards including it remains accurate, accessible, and up to date
- Aids in project reporting including preparation of dashboards, summaries, and status updates and highlights
- Communicates project updates internally and externally where needed including following up on action items and escalating blockers or risks
- Defines and documents project risks, issues, actions, decisions, and deliverables that support the project in collaboration with the project sponsor, senior management, and stakeholders
Baseline Leveling Criteria
Performs specialized assignments for Atlassian platform administration and management of Jira, Confluence, and Atlassian; solves complex problems and develops non-traditional solutions through sophisticated analytical thinking
Interprets internal/external business environment through the maintenance of work items, project boards, workflows, dashboards, and documentation
Partners with cross-functional teams during product release to support requirement tracking, release readiness coordination, and visibility into upcoming work
Recommends best practices to improve processes or services including increasing consistency across projects
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred
Typically requires 5+ years of related work experience

Pay Range & Benefits
The base salary range provided is consistent with similar roles at the Company. The base salary range is not an absolute, but a guide, and actual offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, education, experience, location, market conditions, and other compensation components. Depending upon all of the preceding considerations, the base salary may be lower or higher than the stated range.
