About the role
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering complex projects aligned with business priorities. This role partners closely with leaders and cross-functional teams to define requirements, build realistic plans, manage dependencies, and ensure work progresses effectively.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of moderately complex, cross-functional projects aligned to business priorities
- Build detailed project plans, timelines, and resource requirements
- Track progress, manage dependencies, and adjust execution plans to meet timelines
- Partner with functional leaders to define scope, requirements, and success metrics
- Communicate project status, risks, and trade-offs clearly to stakeholders
- Identify risks and issues early; drive mitigation and resolution actions
- Ensure adherence to standard project management practices, tools, and reporting
- Support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives
- Auxiliary in stabilization or recovery efforts for challenged or at-risk projects
Requirements
- Proven ability to manage projects from initiation through execution and delivery
- Experience working on cross-functional initiatives in operations, engineering, or business environments
- Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communicator who can translate complex work into clear, actionable updates
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and influence without authority
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, operations, or related field (required)
- 3–5+ years of project management or related experience
- Experience supporting cross-functional projects with measurable outcomes
- Foundational knowledge of project management methodologies
- Exposure to process improvement or continuous improvement practices
Preferred
- PMP or similar certification (preferred, not required)
- Experience in service, distribution, or operational environments
- Familiarity with Lean or Agile principles
- Exposure to project portfolio tracking tools or reporting systems
