Project Manager

About the role

As a global leader of Program Management and Construction Management (PM/CM) services with projects ranging from $1 million to programs up to $10 billion, we deliver award-winning total Design and/or Construction Management projects for public and private sector clients. Reporting directly to the Program Manager or Regional Manager, this position will be part of the Client’s Program Management team, working onsite managing public projects. This includes Design and Procurement oversight from inception through occupancy. As a client-facing role, you will serve as a high-ranking onsite Owner’s Representative, ensuring Schedule, Cost, Scope, and Safety.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall project delivery (cost, schedule, quality, information, contracts) on multiple project assignments.
• Manage project development from conception through completion (both large and small) in accordance with program objectives.
• Manage all budgets, schedules, scope development, design and construction contracts, documents, procedures, and controls for assigned projects.
• Manage the review and approval process for consultant invoices, contractor pay applications, and change orders; coordinate with Control Manager for proper posting in reporting program.
• Attend weekly job progress meetings and issue meeting minutes during design.
• Resolve complex design and construction-related issues, disputes, and disagreements.
• Review status and monitor variances of the design and construction project database relative to scheduling and cost control reporting.
• Serve as the primary client contact, requiring excellent communication skills.
• Multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture required.
• 7 years of experience as a Project Manager in an Owner, Engineering, Environmental, or Construction organization required.
• Project Management experience must include direct oversight of Design Consultants and Contractors.
• 10-15 years of experience in a project-related technical field required.
• Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building, and client relationship building required.
• Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Professional Engineer (PE), or Architect license/certification preferred.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $125,000.00 to $175,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
