Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all phases of construction projects to meet safety, schedule, budget, and quality goals
- Develop project plans, schedules, and construction strategies in collaboration with Superintendents and project teams
- Oversee contract administration, including subcontracts, change orders, and compliance requirements
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders through clear and consistent communication
- Lead, mentor, and develop project engineers and field staff
- Coverage of project personnel, subcontractors, and vendors
- Coordinate and supervise project personnel, subcontractors, and vendors
- Ensure work meets quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture and compliance with all regulations
- Foster teamwork, accountability, and workforce engagement across project teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 10–15 years of construction management experience (heavy highway/bridge experience strongly preferred)
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, cost control, and contract management
- Proven leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license required
Work Environment & Requirements
- Primarily on-site, with time split between field locations and regional office
- Exposure to construction conditions (equipment, heights, confined spaces, weather)
- May require extended hours, nights, or weekends depending on project demands
- Travel to project sites required
