About the role

As a Project Manager, you will lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise SaaS implementations for utility, transmission, and system operator customers.
Responsibilities
- Lead the successful execution of customer implementation and enhancement projects from initiation through delivery.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Cook up cross-functional teams—including Product, Engineering, and Customer Success—to ensure alignment on scope and deliverables.
- Partner closely with customers, Solution Architects, Product, and Engineering to drive adoption of best practices and ensure measurable outcomes.
- Orchestrate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), performance testing, and readiness reviews; ensure defects are prioritized and resolved to exit criteria.
- Drive change management: training plans, stakeholder communications, SOP updates, and post-go-live hypercare.
- Manage contracts/SOWs, baselines, and change requests; track burn, invoicing milestones, and margin.
- Identify and mitigate delivery risks and cross-program dependencies; escalate with options and recommendations.
- Apply project management methodologies and best practices to drive process efficiency and consistency across the CX organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- A few years of project management experience in delivering enterprise SaaS implementations (ideally in the energy or utility sector).
- An analytical problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with interconnection processes and terminology (e.g., queue management, system impact/facilities studies, DER integration, distribution load connection).
- Proficiency with project tools: Jira/Confluence (or equivalents), MS Project/Smartsheet, Google Workspace, and collaboration suites.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; comfortable presenting to executive and technical audiences.
- The ability to translate complex policy/engineering requirements into actionable plans; bias for structured problem-solving and documentation.
- A proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering results on time and within scope.
Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or equivalent certification.
- Working knowledge of utility/energy regulations and standards (e.g., FERC Order 2023 concepts, NERC, ISO/RTO processes) and how they influence workflows and data.
- Hands-on experience with SaaS implementations or other technical project delivery.
- The ability to influence without authority and foster collaboration across distributed teams.
