Core Responsibilities
- Support project planning, execution, and closeout activities for heavy industrial construction projects.
- Cookordination with owners, engineers, estimators, and the Sr. Project Manager to prepare, review, and validate scopes of work, schedules, estimates, and contracts.
- Promote and reinforce GrayWolf’s safety culture and compliance with site-specific safety requirements.
- Provide day-to-day support to field supervision to ensure work is executed safely, to specification, on schedule, and within budget.
- Monitor field productivity and assist with earned value tracking, progress measurement, and reporting.
- Aid in cost control, forecasting, and tracking of labor, material, equipment, and subcontract costs; support cost accounting efforts and earned value tracking under the direction of the Sr. Project Manager.
- Aid in procurement activities, including preparation of bid packages, subcontract scopes, and coordination with purchasing.
- Recognize potential scope changes and assist with change order documentation and management.
- Aid the Project Controls team in development of large-scale multidiscipline project schedules.
- Update and maintain project schedules and status reports; scheduling software experience is required (Primavera P6 preferred, MS Project acceptable).
- Cookordinate construction activities with owner operations and other contractors on active industrial sites.
- Act as a technical liaison between GrayWolf field supervision, owners, and engineers.
- Aid in quality control planning, inspections, and documentation.

Education And Experience
- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline with (3–6) years of relevant heavy industrial construction experience.
- OR Minimum (12) years of similar construction experience in industrial environments such as pulp & paper, chemical, power, or heavy manufacturing, with demonstrated involvement in project controls, scheduling, or cost tracking.

- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and field execution in heavy industrial environments.
- Logical, structured evaluation of field conditions and practical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate work across diverse groups including craft supervision, subcontractors, engineers, owners, and internal project teams.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to adapt to changing field conditions and project requirements.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear direction for field execution.
Desired Skills Or Knowledge
- Applied project management and project controls experience.
- Scheduling software experience: Primavera P6 preferred; MS Project acceptable.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Working knowledge of technical tools such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, 3dLiftPlan and others.
- OSHA safety training or equivalent industrial safety experience.
- Experience supporting cost forecasting, earned value, and schedule updates.
