Project Manager

About the role

Fisk Electric, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a Project Manager to join their office in Miami, FL. Since 1913, Fisk has been one of the nation's leading providers for the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems, structured cabling applications, integrated electronic security systems, and building technology solutions. They have worked on various notable projects including Formula 1 and City Center projects in Las Vegas for MGM, data center projects, T-Mobile Arena, UNLV, DAS Projects for 5G services, and high-end retail stores like Gucci, Fendi, Neiman Marcus, and Tapestry.

Responsibilities

• Reviews owner contract and ensures compliance
• Manages development of master project schedule and quality control program
• Identifies critical issues and milestones
• Reviews budgets and scopes with Preconstruction Department
• Manages project budget
• Identifies potential additional cost issues and forecasts accordingly
• Ensures safety is properly incorporated into job planning and execution
• Prepares subcontract and owner Change Orders
• Prepares Monthly Owner Requisitions
• Analyzes financial ability of subcontractors to perform
• Ensures all contractual requirements of Subcontractor/Vendor have been fulfilled prior to their mobilization
• Manages project assets
• Conducts weekly and monthly review (study) of job cost reports
• Develops Look-Ahead Schedules
• Manages company’s quality control program on the project

Requirements

• Four year Construction/Engineering Degree or equivalent combination of technical training and related experience
• Minimum of five years experience in construction, design, finance and management required
• Two or more years of experience working for a commercial electrical contractor
• Proficiency in Fisk’s computer software and keyboarding necessary (Primavera, Expedition, CGC CMS, MS Word, Excel)
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
• Advanced knowledge of safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control, engineering drawings, and other construction documents

Qualifications

A four-year Construction/Engineering Degree or equivalent combination of technical training and related experience is preferred. Minimum of five years experience in construction, design, finance and management is required. Two or more years of experience working for a commercial electrical contractor is also required. Proficiency in Fisk’s computer software and keyboarding (Primavera, Expedition, CGC CMS, MS Word, Excel) is necessary. Excellent communications and interpersonal skills are essential. Advanced knowledge of safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control, engineering drawings, and other construction documents is required.

Skills

Proficiency in Fisk’s computer software and keyboarding (Primavera, Expedition, CGC CMS, MS Word, Excel) is necessary. Excellent communications and interpersonal skills are essential. Advanced knowledge of safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control, engineering drawings, and other construction documents is required.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually.

Schedule

The Project Manager works a standard Monday through Friday schedule with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
