Project Manager
About the role
The Information Technology Specialist (ITS) I, under the general direction of the IT Manager (ITM I), is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing complex IT projects related to the SB 704 Firearms Barrel Project. This role involves applying project management concepts and aligning with industry best practices, CA-PMF, PMBOK, and State IT policies.
Responsibilities
- Plans, schedules, and leads activities for IT projects, including system development methods.
- Prepares and guides project teams in preparing PAL deliverables, Special Project Reports, Post Implementation Evaluation Reports, Economic Analysis Worksheets, and Financial Analysis Worksheets.
- Manages project resources, including finances, technology, and intellectual property.
- Identifies and manages project risks, ensures clear communication, and establishes clear lines of accountability.
- Participates in planning and organizing project resources to ensure project completion.
Requirements
Qualifications include completing two years of satisfactory additional experience performing duties equivalent to or higher than an Information Technology Specialist I, or four years of such experience for consideration in Range C.

Schedule
Day shift, Monday through Friday
