Position Summary
As a Project Manager with Bravo17, you will lead and manage medium-to-large scale projects, ensuring successful delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Project Manager with at least 8 years of experience who can thrive in a high-accountability environment and drive meaningful client outcomes within the federal space.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage medium-to-large scale, complex projects simultaneously from initiation through closeout.
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets effectively.
- Proactively manage project risks, identify challenges, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure seamless delivery.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Bravo17’s project management processes, methodologies, and standards.
- Build, motivate, and lead high-performing, multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Develop and mentor junior team members, fostering a positive, collaborative work environment and supporting their ongoing growth.
- Foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the program management function, ensuring employee well-being is prioritized.
- Effectively manage project stakeholders and build strong, trust-based partnerships with clients and federal agencies ("Not just Customers, Partners").
- Effectively communicate project plans, metrics, and results to senior leadership and external stakeholders using data to drive team performance.
- Ensure all project deliverables strictly prioritize user experience ("User-Centric") and map directly back to measurable mission outcomes.
Required
- Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in project management or program management roles.
- C clearance: An Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance is required.
- Project Delivery: Proven track record of successfully leading, managing, and delivering medium-to-large scale projects on time and within budget.
- Financial Acumen: Direct experience managing project budgets and resources effectively.
- Practice Contribution: Willingness to contribute to Bravo17's internal program management methodologies and standards.
- A focus on operational efficiency by leveraging existing templates, methodologies, and best practices ("Don't Reinvent, Reuse").
- Strongly Preferred: Experience managing digital products, applications, system design, or IT optimization projects within a federal or defense environment.
- Background: Working closely with cross-functional technical teams (software engineers, UX designers, data analysts).

- Security Clearance Requirement: Active Secret
- Location: This role is remote; however, preference is given to candidates located in the Washington DC area, Denver, Chicago, or Atlanta.
