Responsibilities

  • Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities
  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
  • Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client
  • Effectively applies Audubon methodology and enforces project standards
  • Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures
  • Minimizes exposure and risk on project
  • Safeguards project documents, ensuring they are complete, current, and stored appropriately
  • Manages the project budget
  • Determines appropriate revenue recognition, ensures timely and accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables for project
  • Follows up with clients, when necessary, regarding unpaid invoices
  • Analyzes project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates, efficiency, and utilization
  • Remains completely accessible to client 24/7 during the life of the project and provides a single point of contact, ensuring specific requests are processed promptly and appropriately
  • Drives Management of Change philosophy and enforces corresponding procedures
  • Supervises project engineers, coordinators, and admins
  • Consistently acknowledges and appreciates each team member's contributions
  • Effectively utilizes each team member to his/her fullest potential
  • Motivates team to work together in the most efficient manner
  • Keeps track of lessons learned and shares those lessons with team members
  • Mitigates team conflict and communication problems
  • Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions
  • Leads and/or acts as a member of internal teams/task forces

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • 7+ years' of project management and field experience working in the onshore gas processing, hydrocarbon storage, pipelines and interconnects
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred
  • Organizes and develops highly functional and effective project teams
  • Works to instill a sense of project ownership and accountability in the project team
  • Coincides with and helps to enforce standard policies and procedures
