Project Manager
About the role
The Janitorial Project Manager oversees the janitorial operations of an assigned account, ensuring high-quality services and strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Supervise janitorial staff, manage payroll, and train new hires.
- Manage maintenance of weekly operating schedules and ensure timely completion of payroll.
- Provide after-hours emergency response as needed.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and employees.
- Handle employee grievances and escalate issues appropriately.
- Maintain uniforms, equipment, supplies, and vehicles.
- Communicate with clients to meet their needs and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Enforce Allied Universal policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- 6 months of experience in business management/operations/supervisory roles in facilities or client-focused sites.
- Excellent computer skills: proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in managing a union environment preferred but not required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including different on-call times daily.
- At least 2 years of management experience, preferably in the janitorial industry.
- Experience in the janitorial field or the ability to be trained in it.
Pay
$70,304 Annual Salary
Schedule
Flexibility in schedule is required.
