Project Manager

Job Description

AECOM is actively seeking a talented Environmental Project Manager for employment in our Denver, CO office.

• Maintain knowledge of site investigation and remediation techniques to drive solutions for clients.
• Manage project objectives and establish project-specific goals.
• Provide guidance and supervision to AECOM staff, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Engage clients regarding AECOM’s service capabilities and services.
• Provide mentorship to staff.
• Oversee and deliver projects in accordance with specifications, budget, and schedule.
• Supervise the management of all phases of projects.
• Predict resource needs and manage resources effectively.
• Provide technical oversight and quality control.
• Provide regular project updates to stakeholders.
• Identify, mitigate, and manage project risks.
• Manage more complex clients and projects.
• Deliver projects within planned profit margins.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements: BS in engineering, geology, environmental science, or a related field, AND (4) Four + years of experience in site investigation, remediation, project management and business development experience OR demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• US Citizen or US Permanent Resident.

Preferred Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in site investigation, remediation, project management, and business development experience.
• Licensed (Professional Engineer or Geologist).
• Experience working with Local and State of Colorado, or California or Texas regulatory agencies.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certified (current).
• PMP certification.
• Experience with regulator and stakeholder negotiations.
