Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking a talented Environmental Project Manager for employment in our Denver, CO office.
- Maintain knowledge of site investigation and remediation techniques to drive solutions for clients.
- Manage project objectives and establish project-specific goals.
- Provide guidance and supervision to AECOM staff, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Engage clients regarding AECOM’s service capabilities and services.
- Provide mentorship to staff.
- Oversee and deliver projects in accordance with specifications, budget, and schedule.
- Supervise the management of all phases of projects.
- Predict resource needs and manage resources effectively.
- Provide technical oversight and quality control.
- Provide regular project updates to stakeholders.
- Identify, mitigate, and manage project risks.
- Manage more complex clients and projects.
- Deliver projects within planned profit margins.
Qualifications
- Minimum requirements: BS in engineering, geology, environmental science, or a related field, AND (4) Four + years of experience in site investigation, remediation, project management and business development experience OR demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- US Citizen or US Permanent Resident.
Preferred Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in site investigation, remediation, project management, and business development experience.
- Licensed (Professional Engineer or Geologist).
- Experience working with Local and State of Colorado, or California or Texas regulatory agencies.
- 40-hour HAZWOPER certified (current).
- PMP certification.
- Experience with regulator and stakeholder negotiations.
