Project Manager

Actalent is seeking a Project Manager to coordinate and oversee construction projects, ensuring effective communication, budget management, and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule project meetings to ensure effective communication.
• Address and resolve project-related issues promptly.
• Monitor project budgets and track expenses.
• Provide regular budget updates.
• Conduct cost estimation and analysis.
• Implement and monitor quality control measures.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of Construction Safety experience is required.
• Experience in project management, construction, and estimation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to clients.
• Ability to effectively present information.
• Minimum of 2 years of estimating or project management experience.
• Familiarity with construction software and technology.

Qualifications

• Civil/Excavation experience preferred.
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Work Environment

• Projects located on both the east and west sides of the state.
• Experience with trenching, sloping, fall protection, confined space, underground excavation, and installation of duct banks is beneficial.
• 20-30% travel every week within a two-hour radius.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year. Individual compensation within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite, Contract to Hire position based in Des Moines, IA.
