Project Manager Assistant

About the role

Under the direction of the Controller, the Project Manager Assistant supports Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Area Management, ensuring projects are completed according to contract documents and within budget for Parisi.

Responsibilities

• Assist & support all aspects of project management
• Assist in bid vs. actual financial management
• Support customer relations and basic office management
• Analyze and interpret business periodicals and governmental regulations
• Write reports and business correspondence
• Perform job set-ups, invoicing, and finalizing jobs
• Calculate figures and amounts to analyze job cost and profitability
• Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables
• Interpret instructions and prepare bids
• Communicate with external clients on follow-up items and collections
• Assist with subcontractor management
• Perform general administrative duties

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 3+ years of work experience
• Microsoft Office experience with data entry and system navigation
• Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
• Able to multitask and work with urgency to meet deadlines

Preferred

• Accounting knowledge and understanding
• Office administration experience
